A journey that tells how a small artisan workshop became a cutting-edge industrial company.
Even before the official founding, Ernesto and Antonietta Romagnoli gained solid experience in the spring industry by working at another spring manufacturer in Milan. During these years, they laid the technical and professional foundations that would become the starting point of the future family business.
In 1952, the Romagnoli couple founded Mollificio Romagnoli in Milan, creating a small artisan business. The first products, manually made with a single machine, were intended for the local market. In the following years, the first employees were hired and new machinery was purchased, while maintaining a family-run structure.
In 1980, their son Fabio Romagnoli joined the company, bringing a new vision focused on modernization. The company moved to Pioltello and began an industrialization process, introducing the first CNC machines, the first computer, and electronic production controls.
Thanks to a strong focus on quality, not only of the product but also of the service, the company achieved the important milestone of ISO 9001 Certification.
The handover from the Romagnoli couple to their son Fabio marked a turning point in the company’s vision: from a large artisan business to a small industrial company.
Despite periods of global crisis, the company strongly believed in its potential and moved to the new production facility in Caponago.
Between 2021 and 2024, the third generation of the Romagnoli family joined the company, with the goal of bringing new skills, an international vision, and expanding the market at a European level, in the name of continuity and innovation.
